EyeCare Partners LLC Announces Completion of Six New Practice Acquisitions in Second Quarter

ECP maintains consistent growth despite COVID-19 pandemic, continues to seek optometric and ophthalmological partners across new and existing markets

ST. LOUIS (July 20, 2020) – EyeCare Partners LLC (ECP), a leading network of full scope medical optometry and ophthalmology practices, today announced the acquisition of six new optometry, ophthalmology and eye surgery centers in regional markets around the country. ECP closed on the acquisitions during the second quarter:

• Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of New Jersey in Somerset, New Jersey (Dr. Vatsal Doshi, MD)
• Foothills Eye Care in King, North Carolina (Dr. Kevin Walker, OD)
• Arizona Eye Institute & Laser Center in Phoenix, Arizona (Dr. Emilio Justo, MD)
• 2020 Vision Care in St. Louis, Missouri (Dr. Melissa R. Lewis, OD)
• The Retina Clinic in Mine Hill, New Jersey (Dr. Katrik Patel, MD)
• Patel Retina Institute in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania (Dr. Sachin Patel, MD)

Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed. With these new acquisitions, ECP now operates across 15 states throughout the Midwest, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Southwest regions. ECP supports its practices with revenue cycle management, purchasing, marketing, human resources, recruiting, training, IT and other business functions to meet the growing demand for medically focused high-quality eye care.
