Mark Barron is the Chief Growth Officer, and in that capacity focuses on developing and executing comprehensive strategies to expand the company’s patient base, optimize existing and identify new revenue opportunities, and support care teams in the continual delivery of an exceptional patient experience.

Most recently, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development and Doctor Partnerships, and in that capacity led inorganic and non-core growth strategies across the enterprise.
Since joining EyeCare Partners (ECP) in its formative years, Mark has enjoyed supporting transformation from a high-reputation regional player into a national industry leader alongside ECP’s best-in-class clinical and non-clinical teammates.

Prior to joining ECP, Mark was an investment professional at The Riverside Company, a leading middle market private equity firm with $14 billion in assets under management, focused on acquiring and growing businesses in health care, industrial, consumer and technology industries. Before Riverside, Mark worked as an investment banker at Harris Williams in the U.S. and UK, where he represented private equity firms and family-owned enterprises.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and economics from the University of Dayton. Mark is a former board member of The Golden Apple Foundation and has enjoyed involvement over the years in several non-profits focused on improving educational literacy and opportunity among disenfranchised youth.

Mark enjoys racquet sports, traveling, hiking, historical non-fiction, keeping up with various sport teams and tackling life’s adventures with his wife and two young children.
