As Chief Legal Officer, Chris Feldmeir supports our senior leaders and ECP’s Board of Directors to develop and execute the company’s strategic initiatives. Under Chris’ leadership, the Legal and Compliance functions have been transformed to deliver strategic advice to business and doctor leaders; he also shares leadership responsibility for ECP’s government relations activities. He has led EyeCare Partners (ECP) Legal and Compliance teams since June 2020, and has also led Real Estate, Facilities, Biomedical and EHS teams since April 2024.
Chris brings more than 20 years of experience advising business leaders on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, finance and commercial contract matters. He emphasizes collaboration and creativity in supporting the organization.
Chris earned his juris doctorate and a masters in tax law from Washington University in St. Louis, earning the Gary I. Boren Memorial Award for graduating at the top of his class in the master’s in tax law program.
He has four teenage children. The family enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors, and cheering each other on at family sporting events.
